Education in Ontario is something that is so valuable to us as educators. We work within the system every day trying to do what is best for our students. We take pride in their successes, and we feel the pain our students feel when they don't know how to keep going.
The system is not perfect, often we don't feel we have the tools that we need, there aren't enough EA's to help out our students in need, and violence is increasing.
There are somethings that we can't control, and there are some things we can. This blog is a chance to chat about issues we are facing in our schools. I will post once a week based on the discussions in our chats. This blog will be a collaboration of all of us. We may not solve everything, but together we can come up with some really great ideas of how to do things better.
